EEA Helicopter Operations B.V. ("EEA"), a Dutch company majority owned by EHO Holdings S.a.r.l. and minority owned by CHC Helicopter S.a.r.l., is the leading helicopter service provider in the North Sea – the world's largest offshore market – where the helicopter fleet is fully utilized. EEA operates under the CHC brand name and uses CHC logo under license.
EEA provides offshore oil and gas, and search and rescue helicopter support services from 17 bases across the United Kingdom, Norway, Ireland, the Netherlands and Denmark. Divisional headquarters are located in Aberdeen, Scotland, where a new AS332L2 Flight Training Device and purpose-built Training Centre have also been recently launched. CHC services 55% of the market in the North Sea, the world's largest offshore market. EEA operates the world's largest and most modern fleet of Super Puma and Super Puma MK2 helicopters. We have introduced the Sikorsky S-92 and have become the world's premier civilian operator of this advanced new aircraft type. We operate the world's largest fleet of Sikorsky S76 aircraft, including the new S76C+, and have introduced the EC225 to the North Sea to further support our ‘new technology’ fleet. Wherever we fly, we have a common purpose; safety and simplicity for our customers. With this in mind, we have built a seamless, integrated operation, incorporating safety systems, logistics, personnel and support. We have created one centralised Operations Centre to coordinate and plan flight programmes and crew utilisation throughout Europe.
